Crews are working to clean up Michael Jackson's hometown of Gary ahead of the anniversary of the pop star's death.Mayor Rudy Clay says "officials want to be sure the city is looking good June 25, one year after Jackson's death."Clay says Gary expects thousands of people to visit the Jackson home that day.
Three trucks marked with Gary's city seal and two front-end loaders could be seen Monday outside the Jackson home in the 2300 block of Jackson Street.Workers trimmed branches around the property and hauled away the debris.
Clay says crews are also cleaning up other locations in the city.
